He has left the country. Our Young Negotiator will be in Vancouver now after having flown to LA and spent the night. It feels strange knowing he is so far away but so far so good. He was actually showing mild signs of excitement before he left.
I told him to buy himself a souvenir, a shirt or something. He is very careful with his money. About six years ago we did a camping holiday in the Queensland Outback for about two weeks and he came home with every cent he took. I want him to look at the Canadian and/or American souvenir(s) in the future so that it reminds him of what a great adventure he has had. Our Young Negotiator said he would like to buy a hockey stick. OK, not bad but he needs a memento too. Will update when I have more information.
