A homeless waif, a stray of questionable past and lineage has joined the family. The Dynamic Daughter has been talking about getting another rat, a baby one but then we saw it. An add in the pet shop window. Someone had found a stray rat and it needed a home. Enter the soft hearted mother/daughter combination and we have taken on this lost soul. Poor little creature was infested with red mites, half starved and dehydrated. She is only small and we are assuming it is because she is young but it could be stunted growth as well. The Dynamic Daughter has purchased the Taj Mahal of rat cages and named this little eating machine Chai. Chai is weak and very quiet but we are sure we can build her up to a normal energetic rodent of Amazonion proportions.
Photo to come as the camera is in the camera hospital. It has a dust speck on the sensor and will be away for FOUR weeks. OMG. What will I do.
